gram-force

Forceexact by definition

The gram-force is the weight of one gram under standard gravity, exactly 9.80665 millinewtons. The value is exact because standard gravity is a defined constant, not a measurement of any particular place.

Watch out: It is a force, not a mass, and the whole point of the gravitational system of units is that the two are numerically equal on Earth so nobody notices the difference. Keyboard switch actuation forces, suture tensile strengths and textile testing are still quoted in gf.
