mJ
millijoule
Energyexact by definition
The millijoule is 10⁻³ joules, exact by prefix. It is about the energy of a paperclip dropped from a centimetre, and the working unit for defibrillator test loads, camera flash output and small capacitor discharge.
Watch out: The site's existing "MJ" entry is the megajoule, nine orders of magnitude larger. Case is the only thing separating mJ from MJ, which is a good argument for choosing from the list rather than typing.
