t·m/s
tonne meter per second
Momentumexact by definition
The tonne metre per second is exactly 1000 kilogram metres per second. It is a convenient size for vehicle and vessel momentum: a 1.5 tonne car at 30 m/s carries 45 t·m/s, and a berthing ship is worked out in the same terms.
