W/K

watt per kelvin

Thermal conductanceexact by definition

The watt per kelvin is the SI unit of thermal conductance: the heat flow in watts sustained by one kelvin of temperature difference across a whole object or assembly. It is the reciprocal of thermal resistance in K/W. As a coherent SI combination the factor of 1 is exact.

Watch out: This is a whole-object property, already carrying the area and thickness inside it. Do not confuse it with the heat transfer coefficient in W/(m²·K), which is per unit area, or with conductivity in W/(m·K), which is per unit thickness of material.
