m³/mol
cubic meter per mole
Molar volumeexact by definition
The cubic metre per mole is the coherent SI unit of molar volume, the volume occupied by one mole of a substance. Its factor of 1 is exact. For gases the values are small in this unit, about 0.0224 m³/mol at 0 °C and one atmosphere, which is why litres per mole is the usual working form.
