The joule per tesla is the SI unit of magnetic dipole moment, equal to one ampere square metre. A dipole of one joule per tesla in a one tesla field has a potential energy of one joule when aligned against the field, and feels a torque of one newton metre when at right angles to it. The relation to SI base units is exact by definition.
