millitorr

Pressureexact by definition

The millitorr is one thousandth of a torr, about 0.1333224 pascals, exact because the torr is exact. It is the unit of high vacuum practice: sputtering and plasma etch processes run at a few millitorr, and the number is also called the micron of mercury.

Watch out: "Micron" on a vacuum gauge means one millitorr, a pressure. It has nothing to do with the micrometre of length, and a refrigeration technician pulling a system down to 500 microns is talking about pressure.
